1. Who we are

Worth Citing is a service operated by G Wright Enterprises LLC ("Worth Citing," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What the service does

Worth Citing audits how a website and brand appear across search engines, answer engines, and generative AI tools, and returns scores and recommendations. The results are informational. They are generated in part by automated systems and AI models, and they may contain errors or omissions. You decide what to act on.

3. Your account

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Plans and billing

We offer a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; see the Refund and Cancellation policy for how cancellations and charges work. We may change prices or plan features, and we will give notice before changes affect an active paid plan.

5. Acceptable use

• Only audit websites you own or have permission to audit.
• Do not use the service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Do not overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure.
• Do not copy, resell, or repackage the service or its output as your own product.
• Do not reverse engineer the service except where that restriction is not allowed by law.

6. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the information you submit, such as the sites and brands you enter. You grant us the license needed to process that information to run your audits and operate the service, including sending public site content and your brand name to the AI providers we query. The privacy policy explains this in full.

7. Our intellectual property

We own the service, including its software, design, and branding. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You may use the audit results for your own business purposes.

8. Third-party services

We rely on other providers to run the service, including Clerk for sign-in, Stripe for payments, Supabase for data hosting, AI providers for the audits, and Resend for email. Their availability and terms affect the service. We are not responsible for outages or changes on their end.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise specific search rankings, AI mentions, traffic, or business results. Optimization outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, G Wright Enterprises LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will post the new version with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
